Let's see:
The objectives get changed to heavily favor NPC ganking without actually giving non-Assassin-based builds any better tools for splitting. Shouldn't be the least bit surprising. Hopefully Izzy Ether Renewals a critical portion or two of it.

What about all the self heal buffs recently? Surely that was pitched at splitting.

They were only buffs to the heal amounts. Heal sig needs to be 1 sec/instant cast, and troll urgent needs to have similar activation time. Even at that, the need for self healing is mute, because no one charges into a base with a 2/6 ranger/warrior split and expect npc's to die. Hell even 7/8 ranger split can only accomplish so much before the healer flag runner starts using mend body and soul or dismiss. Most often then not, your running 3/5 anyway. With that in respect assassins are better because they can kill npc's 2x faster then a warrior/ranger split ever could, also recall is really good ^_^. Imagine ganking with a tactical missiles....
and all you have to do is add one skill to npc's and sinsplit is gone.

Problem with reducing the cast time on Troll, is you close the window of interruption on the Archer NPC's.

Revert all skill nerfs made to Guild Wars for lulz. Or everytime you attack within 5 seconds of shadow stepping, you suffer 2-10% DP based on rank in critical strikes/shadow arts.

It has to be double or triple of the normal exhaustion amount to have effect. Because the 10 exhaustion you would get, is wears of in the 30 seconds the shadowsteps recharge.
But I have liked from that suggestion too.

It is a stupid suggestion that won't help and doesn't make sense either. It is a little better then the DP, 'kill babies' and 'uninstall', but only a little. If you want to do something about shadowstepping, then give all targeted shadowsteps a 2 second skill-blackout. Long enough to remove the shadowstep->dead, not long enough to completely remove them from the game. In other words, something Anet might actually consider.
